At note of both the tone and expression he received, he merely stopped for a moment to process her response before pursing his lips and squinting at her. ”Okay, Queen Bitch, thanks for your feedback,” he grumbled with no shortage of sarcasm, clicking his tongue before taking a few paces back to properly meet her. ”Imagine sassing someone for being concerned. He blew a raspberry, nudging her with his wrist before offering his arm.[break][break]

"nah, nah. i appreciate it, honest~" still she wears a smile, chuckling softly hearing the sarcasm ooze from his voice. there's. slight hint of amusement however, as she reaches her hands out to gently grab hold of his arm, taking small steps around the platform above. her arms tremble slightly, and she's grateful that she won't tremble more if she looks down. His intention was to just keep walking on once she could hold on, as he began to take a step, and then two, and then a third, he paused in thought before slowly bringing himself to a stop again. Turning his head, he eyed her with a gentle furrow of the brows before nodding her way in acknowledgment.[break][break]

”...You sure you’re good?” he questioned again, skeptically. ”Kinda feels like you’re shaking a bit.”

"peachy." she says with her lips, but her slightly trembling hand is saying otherwise. while she can put her heart to rest from the anxiety, her nerves will tell an entirely different story. curse this flesh. it's one of the few times where she opens her eyes, as though that will change anything. same pitch blackness. For real?” He took a few more steps before pausing again, eying her for a longer while before eventually grinning and pulling her further along and towards him, letting go of her wrist and hooking his arm over her shoulders, instead, and guiding her along that way. ”Kinda weird, but kinda makes sense, I guess… Not bein’ able to tell how far up you are is both a savin’ grace and—... but what can you do when you're god knows how far above the ground, and you don't know how far a tumble it's going to be? it comes as a slight surprise to her when he pulls his arm over her shoulder, and artificial eyes glance and narrow towards him, a slight tinge of red from the embarrassment glazing over her cheeks and ears. "hey, don't coddle me~" she sticks her tongue out at him, though raises her hand to keep hold on his wrist to maintain his arm. [break][break]

"if you wanna take a picture, i can have pele to snap a photo~" she chimes, instinctively sticking close to him as they walk "just gotta get my hands on a psychic pokemon before i can see it, though."

He gave a pensive hum while guiding her along, but by the time they’d reached the top of the ridge, that hum transitioned into a chuckle through grinning lips. While he reached into a pocket to ready his phone, he slouched over to lean against her, all while he draped his other arm over her shoulders and hooked it around to pat the opposite shoulder.[break][break]

”Yeah, sure, go for it~.” He rested his chin on her shoulder, briefly raising his hand to poke her cheek before allowing it to rest on her shoulder again, all while unlocking his phone and dangling it between his fingertips after navigating to its camera app. ”Shame ya can’t see the horizon right here, right now, though. Honestly? Pretty fuckin’ nice~.”

she can't see him, but god she can feel his arms around her at least. "pff--" she sputters, slightly, raising her hand to rest on the top of his head "suddenly got real close for a picture. kind of worrisome~" he could definitely suplex her off the edge of the cliff right now, and he probably would if he knew it was safe. but she's not against it. the woman giggles softly as her cheek is poked, and her response is to gently poke the top of his head in response "if it's that much a shame, just bring me up here again, when i can finally see something~" she jests, though half jokingly. honestly speaking, she would love to see the view up there. she'll just have to make do with the picture that her pokemon takes of them.
